Good afternoon, Oak Room families! Today kicked off NAEYC's annual celebration: Week of the Young Child! This is a fun-filled week celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers, families and communities. The purpose of this is to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs. All week long, we will be participating in fun, themed activities. Check out more information about WOYC here . To celebrate Music Monday, we had a groovy dance party! Children had the opportunity to sing and play instruments. We have lots of talented musicians in the Oak room! We also read a few musical books today. Check out links to our favorite online versions of these stories! A Soup Opera "Never Play Music Right Next to the Zoo" Have a musical day!
