9/15/22 - Small Capers

Good afternoon, Oak Room Family!  Today we went capering! Small Capers is part of our Ambrose approach to learning.  Capers involves students opening up their classroom to other classes and visiting their spaces as well.  Invitations set up in each room are intentional and tied to the learning happening in that classroom.  This gives children in other rooms a chance to explore and contribute to learning outside of their classroom work and also build relationships with staff and children throughout the building.

This morning in addition to Small Capers we read a story that prompted the children to create a restaurant in our classroom out of things in our space.

Have a wonderful afternoon!
