10/03/22 - So Many New Pupae!

Happy October, Oak Room Family! Students noticed how many beetles had emerged from their pupae and how many mealworms had transformed into pupae.  The students helped locate all the newly transformed pets so we could transfer them to the appropriate habitats.  Children are learning to care for their pets and handle them gently.  A great amount of social-emotional learning takes place as children become the caretakers of other creatures.

Children also enjoyed making different sounds and rhythms in the classroom.

The children were excited to play with some new classroom materials this morning as well.  It has been a fun Monday morning!

“It’s cooking”

Have a fantastic day!
