Let's Make Another Maze
Good afternoon Oak room families! Today our friends continued working together designing an elaborate maze. Their idea was to make it challenging for the teachers not to make it through the maze. They put in walls and doors to block the exits which could only be opened with a special key. Check it out...
JB - Okay, so here's the key to unlock the maze.
Look what I made F! It's a museum.
We added windows to the museum.
The friends enjoyed sponge painting so much yesterday that they wanted to do it again. Before we began some friends noticed that we didn't have green or purple paint so we had to mix a couple of paints to get our desired colors. "We need to mix blue and yellow to make green" responded GP. And we need to mix red and blue to make purple replied GN-F and they did. We also added glitter to the paint, mixed it altogether and couldn't wait to see the transformation.
GN-F - It's going to sparkle it up.GP - When they dab it on the paper the glitter will shine on the paper.
RN - It's going to be very sparkly.
LM - I see bubbles! They sparkle!
NP - There's bubbles right here!
Look at our hands!
"I Like this!"
Joyfully laughing..."I have purple fingers!"
We just love the joy the children bring to our room in all the things they do!
