Good afternoon, Oak Room Family! Students tried different tools and techniques to see what they could measure and how.  Students wrote letters and cards, studied distribution properties of colors in water, created art with gems and so much more! Have a wonderful day!

Friday Fun

Good afternoon, Oak Room Family! It was pretty cold this morning during our forest time but we found so many other ways to have fun inside until it warmed up a little more.  The children built an elaborate obstacle course in the Collaboratory, a carefully constructed duck sculpture, a see-saw and so much more!  We continued painting both cars and discussed planning the next steps for the cars.  The students built castles, did puzzles, built lego space rockets, made beautiful art and played outside where we investigated how squishy the ground was after the weather we just had. A picture of Mom and Dad at dinner I added a tail to my caterpillar Doesn't this look like Earth? And these are the guards Have a wonderful weekend!

RN - I made a rainbow bunny with floppy ears. EO - I made eyes and a smile for my bunny. "This is a rainbow flower." "The baby doesn't look like an eagle.  It is an eagle but it has warm feathers." "I made a snowflake!" "We're playing doctor!" "I know how to make an eagle nest. ...
