Paper!

Good afternoon, Oak Room Family! This morning students examined the properties and uses of a variety of different types of paper, and then predicted what would happen when the paper got wet and then studied the effects. The children found inspiration to create sculptures with the wet paper, and have made predictions about how the paper will change when it dries. Students’ rainbow worlds emerged into three dimensions today from the prior two dimensions, and they continued their work with glue and glitter and paint. We were fortunate enough that the rain held off and gave us a long time to play outside.

Have a wonderful day!
