To Grandma’s House
JB: “I’m driving the boat to my grandma’s house!”
Good afternoon, Oak Room Family! Fortunately, after JB drove a boat of friends to his grandma's house they still got to enjoy several engaging experiences at school. Students studied the behavior of reflection and refraction and some children figured out how to create rainbows in the classroom. Children were thrilled to create layered art with markers, glue and glitter. The children are continuing their studies of loose parts and how many ways they can create, they are continuing their study of castles and currently are experimenting with what other materials they can combine in their castle building to create different effects. The children used some new tools as well as familiar tools today to attach wires to a log in our classroom in different ways and explore how the wires behave and sound differently depending on how they were attached. As EmO said "it's like a guitar".
Happy Monday! Have a wonderful week!
