Capers
Good afternoon, Oak Room Family! Thursday is a favorite of students because it is small capers day. The children explored a variety of sensory materials including wet sand for castle building, play dough, water and more! Children built with a variety of building materials, continued to engage in deeper play with students from other classes and became very involved in dramatic play. Some children really loved play with the baby dolls while others dressed up in a variety of costumes and characters and acted out scenes with multiple roles. Some students married each other while others performed ceremonies, were the photographers and witnesses. They changed roles as well and created detailed scenes. Even with all of this activity the children still had plenty of time to enjoy springtime outside.
Have a wonderful day!
