Castles
Happy Monday Oak Room Families! Castle designs and rainbows continue to evolve in our space and it's so wonderful, not only to observe the children in their play but, to also listen as they talk about their work. Block play lends itself to so many creative ideas and designs while also fostering kindness and respectfulness among the friends. It's so awesome to hear friends commenting and complimenting one another's building and designs. Check out some of their designs below...
I made a robot. Those are not arms, it's a slide.
BW - That's a cool robot.
These friends worked together building a castle with many parts. The rainbow block is the tower.
EO began working a on castle design. AV asked to join in and they worked together for a while designing a big castle.
EO - Hey A, do you want to make a garden?
A - Yes!
EO - We can make a butterfly garden too and here's the pool for the butterflies.
AV - This is the butterfly garden.
These friends designed a castle together using small colored blocks. Their castle design included a pathway for people to walk through to get to the main entrance.
Friends created beautiful pieces of Salt art ranging from castles to a fun house. Check it out!
