"Rainbow Day"
Good afternoon! A gloomy Tuesday morning turned into an exciting day of fun. It started off in the gym with a fun game of baseball. There was a lot of laughter, shouting and shrieking among all the friends as they took turns at batting and then running the bases. So, so much fun!
Back in the classroom, the children could hardly wait to begin making rainbows with M&M's. During the meeting they discussed different ways to make rainbows throughout the room.
EF - "It could be a rainbow day!"
AV - "We can use the painted blocks on the brown carpet to make a rainbow."
EF - "Maybe we could use the rainbow materials to make a rainbow circle or a real rainbow."
EmO - "Maybe we can use the rainbow cups."
NP - "Can we use clay to make a rainbow circle or a real rainbow?"
RN - After we make the rainbows with the M&M's can we eat them?
GNF - "Yes! But only the ones we didn't use to make the rainbow."
GNF examines the container of M&M's. I think there will be enough for everyone to eat, he says.
EmO - "Mmmmm, they smell so good and they smell like chocolate!"
Finally! We enjoyed some delicious M&M's!
