Happy Friday!

Good afternoon, Oak Room Family! It's hard to believe that we are rounding out our 5th week of school already!  The children continue to enjoy working with the clay creating lady bugs, pizza, nests with eggs and baby dragons, and so very much more!  The children are learning the feel of the material, experimenting with adding water and how that affects the structure and movement of the clay.  The children tried using felt tip pens for their drawing this morning and had the following to share about that experience:

GI: "I drawed elsa and Ana"
DY: "It was one color"
AF: "It was just like a black sky"
BW: "I made two snail shells and one was bigone and it was a snow baby and the other was an alien baby"
PK: "and a polka dot"
IF: "Rainbows are my favorite"

Have a wonderful weekend!
