We're playing ROAR!
Good afternoon, Oak Room Family! This morning was far too beautiful to not go for a walk. The children walked through the neighborhood noticing things along the way and we stopped at the top of the forest on our way back to school and spent quite some time there. Some of the exciting things that the children noticed at the top of the forest included a dead bird, worms, mushrooms and a frog. Many of the children participated in a delightfully giggly running and roaring game which was explained to teachers as "We're playing ROAR!". There was climbing, chatting, investigations and a lot of running and giggling at the top of the forest this morning.
“There’s a cardinal!”
“It’s fake”
“There’s a hair tie on there”
“Someone put it on there”
“Maybe bugs did it”
“Maybe woodpeckers?”
“There’s berries in that tree!”
We hope you had as much fun in this fantastic weather as we did!
