Winter Walk

Good morning, Oak Room Family!  The Oak Room children discussed signs of Winter during morning meeting and then later went on a short Winter walk to look for signs of Winter.  Some of the signs of Winter discussed by children included snowflakes, seeing your breath, cold temperatures, no leaves on the trees, drinking hot cocoa or eating popcorn, snowmen, wearing coats, wearing hats and more!  When we went for a walk the children tested seeing their breath, noticed leaves missing from trees and bushes, noticed the cold, and found a few patches of snow among other things.
