Kindness and Capers
Good afternoon, Oak Room Family! The children enjoyed outdoor capers again today but this time all 4 classes were together. Feel free to check out the blogs for Maple, Acorn and Seedling rooms too if you want!
The children have also been in discussions for a while about establishing an Oak Room kindness tree. During today's book, A Little Spot of Love, we realized that kindness can help grow love. The children discussed and planned in prior meetings what they should make for leaves and how. They discussed how we should use the kindness tree (when you see someone doing something kind you glue a leaf on to the tree). And today some of the children helped to put up our tree. The children are more than ready to start catching each other in the act of being kind and we can't wait to watch our tree bloom with leaves of kindness. The more we show each other kindness the more beautiful our tree will grow.
We’re so excited to watch our kindness tree bloom!
We wish you a day full of kindness and love!
