Artsy Thursday and Forest Day
Good afternoon, Oak Room Family! Today's The Week of the Young Child theme is Artsy Thursday. The Oak Room children created a painting with paint sticks on canvas this morning and will continue to work on it throughout the day giving the Oak Room a beautiful new painting to display in our space! We were also very excited to return again to the forest today. The children spotted several things in the forest both in their zoo as well as in the Asian snow mountains, the hot tropical jungle, the desert, the ponds and more! Some of the things they spotted included an anaconda, piranhas, alligators (the babies were in the small pond and the mom and dad were in the big pond because the mom and dad are bigger and the babies are smaller), elephants, cobras, snow leopards, pandas eating bamboo and so much more! Please don't fret though, all students returned safely to school after the forest, no one was eaten by any of the wild animals in the forest!
Have an artistic day!
