"We're going on a bear hunt!"

Good afternoon, Oak Room Family!  The children informed teachers that they found bear fur (or “bear feathers”) in the forest and many children searched thoroughly for the bear.
AH: “we’re following a bear”
AM: “It’s a polar bear because polar bears are white”

The children also took turns feeling different items in the classroom at meeting and we talked about how to use paper and a crayon to make a rubbing of the texture of an object.  We brought tools for making rubbings in the forest to study the texture of the forest.

CH: “We’re going on a bear hunt but this is our resting spot”

Have a wonderful weekend!
