Kindness
Good afternoon, Oak Room Family! We have discussed kindness many time this year and took the opportunity to try to draw what kindness looks like. Several of the students chose to participate in the activity and want to revisit it again. We joined our neighboring class, Maple, for a combined kindness walk this morning searching for hearts in the community and upon return to the classroom several children offered up examples of kindness in the classroom:
IF: When someone says "stop", you stop
OD: If they want a hug you can give them a hug
GB: If someone doesn't like you doing something you can stop doing it
CC: When people say I don't like that or no you can stop
TF: If someone needs help putting their shoes on you can help them
CH: ...if someone is feeling sad you can invite them to play, if someone wants a hug you can give them a hug, if someone is sad you can ask them if they are OK
HP: no kicking
IF: if you get hurt someone can go check on you
Have a kind day!
