Good morning, Oak Room Family!  It's hard to believe that it's already the last day of school.  We wanted to thank all of you for your support and involvement this year.  This has been such a fantastic year and the children looked forward to and loved all of the guests who read and shared for the Oak Room Speaker Series.  It was such a gift to us for you to take the time to come read and help build community in the Oak Room!  We have loved watching your children grow and learn.  Thank you for sharing your children with us.  We are so excited for the children moving to Kindergarten to start on their new learning journey and we will miss them.  We are also really looking forward to hearing about summer break from our returning students in the Fall.  We look forward to another year together to grow and learn the children.  All of your children have a special place in the hearts of the Oak Room Teachers.  We wish your all a restful, joy...

Good afternoon, Oak Room Family! We celebrated LO’s birthday today with a class favorite of “movie” and popcorn! It was a busy morning of playing and talking about the upcoming summer break. Many of the children are attending summer school here at Ambrose and were having a good time discussing that too. Please note that because tomorrow is a half day with pickup by 11:15am we are sending home backpacks today with bedding and extra clothing for those not attending summer school.  For those attending summer school we are sending their extra school clothes to their summer school classroom as well as sunscreen and bug spray if they have any at school. One day left, and that last day is BRING A TOY DAY! Children can bring a toy, stuffie, or game to school tomorrow.  Please do not send in weapons, anything electronic, or anything irreplaceable.  We will do our best to keep track and take care of toys brought in but accidents do happen and things break sometimes.  Good afternoon, Oak room families! Today we had our last small capers of the year. We have had so much fun working together with our Acorn, Maple, and Seedling friends this year. This event is being held from 4:00-5:30 at Southwest Park. PTO is providing bubbles and has scheduled a snow cone truck. We hope you all are able to stop by and say hello/goodbye and celebrate the year! PLEASE NOTE THAT SCHOOL CLOSES AT 4:00 TO ALLOW FAMILIES AND STAFF TO ATTEND THE EVENT.  Have a wonderful afternoon!

 Good afternoon, Oak room families! Today our special activity was fort building. Children had so much fun building forts with connectors and rearranging the furniture in the classroom to make some magnificent blanket forts. It was an awesome morning! Have a wonderful afternoon!
