Our Job Board

 Good afternoon, Oak room families!  Unfortunately the wind chill made it too cold to go to the forest (and even too cold to play outside on the playscape). We spent our morning moving our bodies in the classroom, though. We also completed another important part of our Monday morning routine; getting new jobs!

The Oak Room has implemented a job board in which each student has a different classroom job assigned to them every week. Students get very excited for our Monday morning meeting when we unveil the new jobs for the week! Classroom jobs help strengthen the sense of community and family within our classroom as well as help foster a sense of responsibility amongst the children.

Here is a look at this week's job board. Each job is designed specifically with the children in mind, and each job is equally as important in helping our classroom run smoothly and safely.
