Winter Walk

Good afternoon, Oak Room Family!  Although it is still chilly out it was warm enough for a winter walk where we enjoyed playing at the top of the forest.  The children were delighted to play in a different outdoor setting and their imaginations found inspiration all around them.  Some of the children chose to build a treehouse in the collaboratory while other children took the opportunity to make their stuffies some clothes.  It has been a very cheerful and active morning in Oak Room!

These friends designed their rendition of Jack and Annie's tree house and which included a maze.

We love our tree house!
AV is pretending to be a frozen statue.
BW, GL and NN made a restaurant for the tree house.
We have a delivery for you.
JM is designing a really cool spinner.

CC makes a rainbow pad to go along with the spinner.

Look at all these holes in this rock.  I think a woodpecker put them there.

After our winter walk the friends asked for a dance party and, of course, we obliged!

Have an amazing day!
