Is it Fall in the Forest too?

Good afternoon, Oak Room Family!  Yesterday when we went out to the playground the children were shouting that it was Fall and cheering for the fall.  This morning before we went to the forest we had a discussion at meeting about how we know if it is fall.  The children suggested that red leaves, falling leaves, yellow leaves and orange leaves were things that indicated it was fall.  We then posed the question, "Is it fall in the forest too? Or just on our playground?"  When we arrived at the forest the children were noticing yellow trees, trees with no leaves, trees that still had leaves, red and orange leaves, as well as leaves on the ground.  The children said it was fall at the forest.
