Letters

Good afternoon, Oak Room Family!  We have been discussing how to make letters in the Oak Room (we like to break letters into lines and curves and put together letters one (big or little) line or one (big or little) curve at a time to make letters feel more manageable.  But today we were exploring how many different materials we could use to make letters.  So far today we have tried making letters out of playdough, gluing paper, scrabble tiles, light table letters, blocks, trains, magnets, drawing, and even using our bodies to make letters.  The children also enjoyed working together in the collaboratory.

Have a great day!
