Neighborhood Walk
Good afternoon, Oak Room Family! We went for our first walk of the year this morning and it went really well. We discussed how to be safe on walks before we went and the children did a great job following all of the safety rules and sticking together. We did a practice walk to the forest but did not go in because it is not our forest day. The children enjoyed stopping to watch the playscape construction and pointing out many things they noticed in the neighborhood. We even got to see a trash truck! Bringing our learning and play outside is an important part of the Ambrose experience and offers so many social, emotional, imaginative, physical, and academic opportunities. We are so fortunate to have so much wonderful outdoor space to explore nature and play.
Have a fantastic day!
